In its decorated musical history one can argue that Los Angeles, California has been the mecca of Hip-Hop with the home of such talent as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar, Tyga and countless others. That list of artists from decade after decade is about to grow with the addition of one name: An1.

With the uncanny ability to switch styles between East and the West Coast types of flows, An1 isn’t even afraid to get on a “skater” tip, similar to Lupe Fiasco. An1 mentions Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, T.I., Stevie Wonder, The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, Too Short, LL Cool J, Nas, Busta Rhymes as some of his own personal influences.

An1 has spent time between Georgia and Ohio and is a well-versed, traveled and diverse artist with the experience to write and perform songs in front of a wide variety of audiences. Having opened up shows for such legendary artists as UGK (Bun B & Pimp C), An1 is no stranger to a large and rowdy crowd of all demographics. Point blank, An1 is a star.

A few years back, An1 teamed up with the industry savvy RopStar Media Group and their talented production team, The Standard — and they instantly clicked together and there has been no looking back. An1 has now branded his own signature sound, which can now be heard on his new release, “How She Do That”. In The few short months since it’s release “How She Do That” has been featured on DJ Kurupt’s ” Street Corner Gangster’s 2″ mix-tape, spent six weeks in the national top 200 digital radio charts peaking at #107, had an average pop-score of 94 on Jango Radio, and most recently has charted at #66 for urban records on mediabase after being picked up by (6) fm stations in the south East. region.
