The DMV’s star power just became brighter! Ziggy, Maryland native, is set poised to become the greatest total package talent from the region in a long, long time.

As an only child, Ziggy had many artistic interests. Her creative and dynamic energy started her career in the limelight as a manager for some of DC’s hottest local acts and tattoo artists.

The Howard Community College student and star basketball player used the same formula to launch her own company called Underground Art by the age of 20. As a known figure on the club scenes from New York to Miami, Ziggy has continued to reach a wide audience of both new and old supporters. From the native “Go-Go” scene in D.C to the R&B styling of many legendary singers, Ziggy hopes to bring a unique new vibe to the music industry.

“Underground Art was launched to promote and showcase all kinds of talent! I love to vibe with all people who create art for the world” she stated in a recent interview. Still— there was something missing.

While working as a manager for the Raw Abstract Project (R.A.P), she began to notice and develop her own hidden talent and passion for performing and song writing. Early fans of her music noticed this talent.

One of Ziggy’s first songs, “Creepin”, took the internet by storm. Listeners raved over this single without knowing what was yet to come. A chance meeting with premier producer, Just Dre, has launched one of the fastest growing and most original sounds on the east coast.

“Musically we fit perfectly!” she confirmed. Chart riser and fan favorite “You Got It” along with the club banger “Look Back at It” were the first smash singles from her EP. Ziggy’s new hit “Passenger” has over four million YouTube views and over five million SoundCloud streams. Ziggy tours the United States relentlessly in order to connect with her fans. In 2015 Ziggy will be in Europe performing in the UK and Amsterdam.

After the final nod of approval from her biggest fan, her Mom, Ziggy hasn’t looked back. ”I just want to be me, have fun and let my fans appreciate what I bring to the table.”
