With the rise of roots and culture music reaching mainstream markets, reggae band Royal Khaoz is bringing more positive vibes, more empowering messages, and more powerful lyrics to the stage. Recently remastered, this group of young men have re-released their single “Walk with Jah” from their 2016 EP, Release the Pressure. The single is a heartfelt tune that delivers the kind of encouragement and reassurance one needs when they need it the most. It will impact any listener regardless of their faith or denomination as seen in this powerful verse:
 Through every mountain and valley,
Jah is my friend, yes H.I.M a me addi,
In this warfare, loyalty is scarce here,
Give thanks to Selassie I, Or whoever you praise,
Jah by my side for the rest of my days
The guys officially released the music video to “Walk with Jah” late last year and they continue to share it with their followers, new and old. They bring energetic and positive tunes to their listeners by recording with live instruments and heartwarming vocals, ultimately creating a reggae fusion.As they gear up to release new music early next year, Royal KhaoZ will continue surprising fans in 2018 with more singles, more shows and even weekly jam sessions in their recording studio in the Bronx. The weekly jam session is an open mic in which they invite all creatives to share their talent in an intimate setting with other likeminded and supportive individuals each and every Thursday.

Hailing out of Jamaica, four young natives formed what we know as Royal KhaoZ, a unit whose sole purpose is to bring an energetic and raw vibe through their music. The band comprises ofJermaine “Bama” Williams, who is the lead vocalist, Andre “DreTegs” Hawthorne who plays the keyboard and also serves as the band’s producer; Kavi “Coco” Forgie on bass and guitars;Damion “Dam Drumz” on drums/percussion; and Damion “Damidon” Hawthorne, the band’s manager and deejay. The group officially formed in 2010 out of New York City.
