SOPHOMORE EP DREAMGIRL OUT THIS FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 1ST
Over the weekend, rising singer/songwriter, QUIÑ wowed the audience at her first ever Afropunk Festival performance. With her mesmerizing stage presence, QUIÑ captivated the audience by performing music from her debut EP GALACTICA and forthcoming sophomore EP DREAMGIRL that is set for release this upcoming Friday, September 1st. QUIÑ’s unique talent and distinct style caught the attention of Vogue who featured her in their Bold Is Beautiful article which highlights the best style at Afropunk. Recently QUIÑ released the first single off DREAMGIRL called “STICKY SITUATION” Ft. Syd (The Internet) as well as the stunning visual. Produced by QUIÑ’s long time producer Krys$hun, DREAMGIRL is another taste of what QUIÑ is calling her own blending of genres called “fantasy soul” and it will feature a slew of guest acts including Syd, 6LACK and more.
ABOUT QUIÑ
Los Angeles artist QUIÑ has been tapped as an artist to watch by the likes of Teen Vogue, Elle and more, all for good reason too! With her unique vocals, creative melody plays, QUIÑ is carving out her own genre that she dubs “fantasy soul.” She burst on to the scene with her debut EP GALACTICA, which was released in the fall of last year, and has been exciting fans across the country with her live performances playing music venues and festivals including a stand out act at SXSW, playing a run of stages including the infamous FADER Fort. Her upcoming sophomore project – DREAMGIRL – will be dropping this fall and continue to push the singer to be one of the year’s most exciting new acts.
